As believers, one of the most important things we need to have is knowledge. There are many things we need to know about like: giving, prayer, God, devil, Church of God etc. The knowledge of all these in their most comprehensive form brings about stability and consistency to our walk with God. The God we serve is a God of knowledge. Isaiah 33:6 “And wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of thy times, and strength of salvation: the fear of the LORD is his treasure.” Proverbs 19:2 “Also, that the soul be without knowledge, it is not good; and he that hasteth with his feet sinneth.”

Knowledge is very paramount in life; because it illuminates every grey area of a believer’s life. People, do not die because the devil is too powerful, but because they are ignorant. Hosea 4:6 says, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge…” when one is ignorant of what belongs to one, the tendency is that one cheats oneself out of the plan and purpose that God wills for one. Someone who is ignorant is blind; a blind person cannot harness his potentials. That is why the scripture says in Proverbs 4:7 “Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.” Proverbs 3:13 says “Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding.” Why? Because, if you do not know what things that are yours, there is no way you will make a demand for them.
